About the Event

OBS! You can participate in the course by paying for all sessions at once (1000 kr) or dropping in (200 kr / session).

This yoga course is designed for men. Yes, men. Yoga is meant to be practiced in a comfortable environment free from expectations and stress. We want to emphasise comfort zone and maybe even crush some typical yoga myths in this course as a natural entry point to yoga.

You are welcome to Yoga For Men whether it is your first, second, or tenth time – or even if your partner “recommended” this course for you. This course fits all levels of experience (and stiffness). Throughout the course, we will slowly progress and try out different approaches to yoga – from dynamic to relaxing yoga as well as meditation and breathing exercises. The teachings in this course derive from serious yoga tradition but are taught in a not-at-all serious way.

The course is taught in English.

ABOUT HENRI PARVIAINEN:

Breathe in. Breathe out. Relax. These are the cornerstones of Henri’s approach to yoga. Instead of strict details in his classes Henri loves to create a safe atmosphere where everyone can feel welcome and supported. Not as much as possible, but as little as is needed. Henri comes from Finland and incorporates the teachings of ancient philosophies into day-to-day leadership and challenges of the business world. His mission is to find a balance and spread the joy of well-being around him. He is also currently training for half Ironman triathlon and is ever keen on improving his recovery.

  • YTT Shakta Yoga School, Finland (2018)
  • 20h RYT Chair Yoga, Michael Hutkins Yoga, USA (2017)
  • Ayurveda Consultant, 600h, USA (2018)

WHERE: Yogaens Hus, Mellomila 91a

WHEN: Thursdays 18.3. – 29.4.2021 kl 16.30-17.30, 6 sessions (no session on Thursday 1.4.)

COST: 1000 kr / 6 sessions or drop-in 200 kr / 1 session
